Been a while since I've went to see anyone in concert, pretty excited for tonight.....BUDDY FUCKING GUY is performing about 20 minutes from my home, never seen him, but ALWAYS thought he was one of the absolute best and most influential of all blues/rock guitarists........be hard to name a major strummer that he DIDN'T influence highly, Hendrix, Richards, Page......at the age of 77 he can still thrash with the best of them, see his appearance in "Shine a Light",the Rolling Stones movie of a few years back.My collection of recorded blues stuff is spotty and very minimal, I do have a couple of Buddy Guy compilations, seems like today is a great day to drag them out and post them hear.....I consider myself damn lucky to have the chance to see him live, while he is still with us.
