The Best Black Diamond Heavies post, ever

Ohhhhhhhh, fuck yes, the fucking Black Diamond Heavies......great, unique shit, THE heaviest rock n roll EVER played without guitars EVER (competition: Lee Michaels, Mommy and Daddy (whom you know I LOVE))......these guys kick some WAAY serious ass.

Actually, on  their first EP ("You Damn Right") they began as a three piece, with James Leg on "vocals" (actually sonds like he has just garrgled razor blades) and keyboards (he is a wizard at that particular art), Van Campbell on drums, and guitarist Mark Holder....they sound something like an amatuer version of the Black Keys, raw, crude blues.......it's a great EP, BUT.......


Holder left the band, and rather than recruit an new guitarist, Leg and Campbell carred on as a two piece, which was a brilliant move as they developed a sound like no one else's, amazingly stripped down, crude, bare bones, hard core blues rock.....if you don't like this shit you have stumbled into this blog by accident, and should probably pursue some "classic" Styx or something......

They released a pair of magnificent albums, 2007's "Every Damn Time" and 2008's "A Touch of Someone Else's Class", these are MUST HEAR/MUST HAVE albums, some of the grittiest, rawest, most bare-bones blues rock ever recorded....cannot praise them enough, both 5-star albums all the way. Also have their fine live release "Alive as Fuck", and another live boot, plus "Solitary Pleasure",which Leg released as a solo effort.......this is bomb shit all the way. I WANT you fuckers to comment on it and AGREE with how right I am that these motherfuckers are the absolute shit. Because they are. And I have little else to fucking say on the matter.

With the Zippyshare problems of late, I have no idea when these links will be uploaded...it is Monday night as I type this, I HOPE you see this on Tuesday, but Zippy has ALREADY fucked up some of the Pretenders links.....it is simply amazing to me that , as lazy as I am, I can work so much faster than the INCREDIBLE lame zippyshare, but it is all I have until something better comes along. Again, I know it reflects badly on my blog and on me, and for that I apologize, but there is nothing more I can do....thank you to those who continue to support and read my blog, who continue to participate in the sharing of music, just thank you to ALL of my friends out there.......I wish I had a better upload service to use (I WILL NOT pay or one), but Mediafire became a disaster, and Zippyshare is almost impossible to use (on this end).....but I will continue.
