Well, the response to Pater Nambrot was decent, not great, but I feel like shoving some Italian psych/drone/metal dn yor throats nonetheless, thusly, I present Ufomammut (do not ask me what thier name means, I have nary a clue).....comprised of guitarist/synth man Poia, bassist/vocalist/synth man Urlo, and drummer Vita. they have composed some very original, atmospheric, wierd spacy psych/metal......I commned these VERY highly, please give them a listen and let me know your thoughts.

They debuted in 2000 with "Godlike Snake", a very good set with spacy, tippy tracks like "Zerosette" and "Superjunkhead".......THIS is drug-rock supreme, you can space on this shit BIG time, almostwishing I still dropped acid so I could get the "full effect" of this shit, not kidding......in 2004 they released the even better "Snailking" ....more of the same, this stuff is trippy, TOTALLY psychedelic, and HIGHLY original.....again, I HIGHLY recommend these discs., this one, of course , capped by the somewhat amazing half hour long "Demontain".... Album #3 was 2005's "Lucifer Songs", yet another fine set of long, spacy acid/metal jams.....I REALLY cannot think of anyone to compare these albums to, which, if you know me, is one of the greatest compliments I could pay them.....

In 2008, they released "Idolum", beleive me, these guys knew their formula, but it is GREAT stuff, perhaps some of the VERY greatest unknown heavy psych out there (at least in the US, I have no clue as to their popularity level at home)....finally in 2012 they released "Eve", basically 1 track in five "movements", spread over a CD.....smart, progressive, heavy, trippy, thought provoking......Ufomammut is a FUCKING GREAT band who has provided some GREAT music to the world......it is CRIMINAL that they are unknown to the degree that they are (again, at least in the US)........you owe it to yourselves to check these albums out, i GUARENTEE you will bethanking me later. Ufomammut is the fucking bomb. DO NOT miss these great albums!
