Well, one thing you will hardly EVER find me putting on this blog is garage rock, particularly of the 1960's, USA variety.......but this is a fairly obscure two disc set from We the People, who, in seriousness, were prominently featured in the Garage Greats series, and contains what I would guess to be ever note they ever recorded......they are best known of coure for their often comped "Mirror of Your Mind", also some more minor singles such as "My Brother the Man", but the thing is, this is a remarkably listenable collection.......I'd post it just for the rarity value, but there is some really good stuff on here, they dabble in the usual punk and psych sounds of the era ("St. John's Shop" is a decent example of the latter), and, unlike so many similar comps of bands such as this it is NOT loaded with lame cover versions of Rolling Stones or Cream (or whomever) songs......two discs (40 tracks) is a BUNCH, I'm a warning ya, but you will never, ever EVER have to search out ANYTHING by We the People EVER again. Now there is ONE LESS thing you can worry about! I gather, at times they were also known as The Offbeats, the Trademarks, and the Nonchalants, and their stuff under THESE monikers are included here as well......this ain't no half-hearted effort here!

Zippyshare has been behaving themsleves a BIT more of late, I still have my issues but am confident that I will have these two links up yet tonight......hopefully........I hope this isn't overkill in light of the recent Garage Greats set, but I was looking through the shelves today and stumbled upon this, and I really do think it's at least FAIRLY rare, and is also quite interesting!
