Dresden China

Hey, even though I am posting much more sporadically now than in the past, I am still ALL about the VARIETY of stuff out there that is either forgotten or unknown........not a REAL fave of mine, but what the hell, let's present, from Germany,1986, a VERY prototypical synth/disco/new wave band that you either never heard of OR forgot all about......

Dresden China were keyboardists Jurgen Beckmann and Werner Littau, singer Ulrich Werdin, guitarists Lutz Somer and Stephan Neumeier, drummer Wahrmut Sobainsky, and bassist Patrice T Jones.....they produced a swill of sound that was NOT that great at the time (IMHO), but serves now as a perfect time capsule for those not-so-wonderful 1980's......you know the sound, I've posted some of this type of thing before, and you know full well whether this is worth your time or not.......hey, diversity, diversity, diversity, hell, it could be my middle name except my parents stuck me with "Michael" instead.......

While not a huge favorite of mine, this really is (sort of) what 1980's music was about.......of course I prefer the music of almost ANY other decade, but of course we need to investigate all corners.....see ya later today I hope, and it'll be something ROCKIN!!!
