New Grab Bag from Brian

(Scott) finally, getting laid off at the end of the week, so I will be able to do a bit more regular
posting, but I certainly hope the guest posters stay around, they make it great....speaking of, here's Brian's latest stew of stuff
________________________________________________________________________________________

Another smorgasbord post for you guys, since I can never decide on just one thing to do.

First up, REPOST! After putting up that Jennifer Warnes bootleg link, I finally noticed - and some of you may have - that there was a little repeating here and there. I got with Jonder and he fixed the tracks. I can't blame him...that track was originally a nightmare single mp3. So here it is, time corrected and everything. And I've fixed the original link back a few posts, so there won't be separate copies floating around. If you downloaded before - there's at least 50 of you - definitely hit this file again!

This one is a reader request. Back on the Jennifer Warnes anthology post, a fella requested Jack
Tempchin's rare, only-on-vinyl solo album from 1978. I couldn't find all the tracks, but here's 7 out of the 10. One of these was on the Jennifer Warnes comp. Enjoyable, California-flavored 70's country rock. Give it a try, but roll a few bombers first.

This one is to celebrate the big movie that's coming out next week. (No names...big D is watching). It's a 1977 Disco album based on music from the first film! Contains one medley of SW music and the original medley "Other Galactic Funk", along with the single edit of "Theme - Cantina Band". Believe it or not, this was a chart topper back in the day! And when it's disco-fied, doesn't the main theme now sound like the theme from Dallas? Whether you enjoy it for the laughs or the kitschy disco grooves, it's essential for any fan. Groove to this while you're waiting in line for the movie! One up your fellow geeks! As a bonus track I've also included "Lepti Nek", the lost song from the soundtrack of ROTJ...the original Jabba's dancing girl song before the "Special Edition" version. And it's really disco all on its own. And John Williams wrote that one!

And now, the Comedy Bonus. It's Steve, and it's his three main albums in one link. Enjoy!
